SIXTH ANNUAL CLEO CAREER FAIR
GENERAL INFORMATION
 
The Sixth Annual CLEO Mid-Summer Professional Development Seminar &Career Fair is scheduled for June 14, 2010 in Chicago, IL. Law firms, government agencies and public interest organizations have been invited to participate. The Career Fair will include employer information tables and opportunities to interview for law clerk positions, internships and judicial clerkships. Invited employers include small, mid-sized & large firms, government agencies, courts and public interest organizations who offer job opportunities to a wide array of jobs to law students and graduates.
 
ELIGIBILITY
CLEO students advancing to second & third years of law school as of Fall 2010, are eligible to participate.
 
REGISTRATION
You must register on-line to participate in the Career Fair. If you are a CLEO Fellow, Associate or Affiliate you have to be registered for the Mid-Summer Professional Development Seminar. Hotel accommodations provided only for CLEO Fellows, Associates and Affiliates who registered for the Mid Summer Professional Development Seminar.
 
PARTICIPATING EMPLOYERS
A list of participating employers will be displayed at the bottom of the registration form. Updates to the list will be added as they are received. The alphabetical list of participating employers includes:
1) A nutshell description for each employer.
2) Career Fair activity.
3) Class year being interviewed, if any.
4) Other eligibility/employer hiring criteria.
 
RESUME FORMAT
Your Resume should be sent by e-mail to zamfirl@staff.abanet.org only if requested by the Participating Employers you are being granted interviews with. All students bring resumes on site along with any other requested materials, such as unofficial transcripts and writing samples for employer information tables and the evening reception.
 
POLICY REGARDING DISPLAY OF GRADE/ACADEMIC INFORMATION ON RESUMES
Resumes must follow any guidelines implemented by your law school. You are encouraged to visit your Career Services Office for assistance with resume preparation and interviewing skills. Carve out time to do this before final exams, if possible.
 
INTERVIEW POLICIES & PROCEDURES
CLEO has established interview policies and procedures to help ensure a successful Career Fair and a positive student and alumni experience. Please abide by all stated guidelines. Direct any questions to tobiasd@staff.abanet.org.

REGISTRATION: Sign ups are on a first-come, first-served basis. However, students should review employer hiring criteria and research participating employers prior to signing up.
